Pilolcura adquiere su nombre de la formación rocosa
que ha sido horadada desde tiempos remotos por
la influencia del mar. Desde este sector podemos
apreciar una gran cantidad de aves marinas como
el gaviotín sudamericano (Sterna hirundinacea), el
playero blanco (Calidris alba) y el pilpilén (Haematopus
palliatus).

la inmensidad del océano desde la seguridad de
la costa, como un rito sempiterno de la historia de
la humanidad. El origen común de todos los seres
vivos matiza en cada costa los rasgos y costumbres
de las culturas asociadas al mar.

Pilolcura gets its name from the rocky formation
that has been pierced since remote times by the
influence of the sea. From this area we can see many
seabirds such as the South American tern (Sterna
hirundinacea), the sanderling (Calidris alba) and the
American oystercatcher (Haematopus palliates).
