En Valdivia la lluvia es parte del paisaje. Dicha
condición da vida a una ciudad que cuenta con
más de 19,17 m de áreas verdes urbanas por

habitante. Sus parques y bosques son el reflejo de
un mundo moldeado por las precipitaciones. Solo en
invierno puede haber entre 51 a 57 días de lluvia, con
cerca de 1.800 mm de precipitaciones, casi el doble
de las registradas en regiones más australes. Esto
se debe a que la temperatura, aunque es baja, está
constantemente influenciada por el Pacífico.

In Valdivia, the rain is an integral part of the landscape.
This condition gives life to a city with more than 19,17
m of urban green areas per capita. Its parks and forests

are the reflection of a world shaped by the rain. The city
can have 51 to 57 days of rain, and that is just winter,
having up to 1,800 mm annually, almost double the
precipitations recorded in regions more to the south.
This is due to the fact that the temperature, though low,
is constantly influenced by the Pacific Ocean.
