En la región de Los Ríos, se encuentra el complejo
termal más grande de Sudamérica con más de 20
termas. Estas termas se forman en las profundidades
de la tierra a partir del cinturón de fuego de la falla
Liquiñe-Ofqui y a partir de las cámaras magmáticas
de los volcanes de la región que calientan las aguas
subterráneas. Este importante recurso natural da
origen a la “Ruta de la Salud” más importante de Chile.
In Los Ríos Region we can find the largest thermal
complex in South America, with over 20 hot springs.
These hot springs are formed in the depths of the earth,
from the fire belt of the Liquiñe-Ofqui Fault and the
magmatic chambers of the volcanoes that warm the
subterranean waters. This important natural resource
originated the most important “Health Route” in Chile.
